Gathering Update

Hello Restoration Community!

We are excited to begin our transition back to in-person gatherings starting in June! While we can’t wait to see you, your safety is our number one priority.

In following the CDC guidelines we have decided the best way to care for our community is to host multiple smaller gatherings. We will be hosting 3 in-person gatherings limited to 25 people. The services will still have worship, teaching, and prayer, but in a more intimate setting.

To make sure we keep our gatherings appropriately sized, we need you to RSVP by following the link below. We will also host the service online at 5pm for anyone who is not yet comfortable attending an in-person gathering.

As we make this transition, here are some things you’ll notice on a Sunday at Restoration…

To make this system work, we need your help! Please help us by registering in advance so we know which service you plan to attend. You’ll need to register each person in your household who will be attending. You can do this all under one registration but be sure to add each person (kids and adults) individually to your registration. This will allow us to prepare for your family and make sure you have the best experience possible. We also ask that you arrive no earlier than 10-15 minutes before service. We just need some time to get everything cleaned for you and the previous group transitioned out. Thank you for your patience as we work to make sure there are no more than 25 people in the building at one time.

We will have a section of seats ready to go for you and your family. You will just need to find your name and your seats will be ready and spaced out 6 feet from any other family. This is why your RSVP for each member of your group is so important.

For the time being, our Restoration Kids wing will be closed. Our Sunday gatherings will be for the entire family. We will not be having separate kids programming to ensure the health and safety of our kids and leaders, but we will have many fun ways to engage kids during the service!  You will find a special bag for your child on their seat!

When you arrive, you will notice that there is no hospitality station with coffee and donuts. We promise they will be back, but for now please plan to bring your own coffee from home.

Come join the fun, but during greeting time remember that you don’t have to shake hands, a smile or air high five is also lovely. We’ll be awarding points for creativity. Not really. Just remember, wash your hands and please stay 6 feet apart. You can also take advantage of the hand sanitizer and masks placed around the building.

That’s right, it’s bring your own pen! We are going to try to prevent the spread of germs by not putting out pens and papers on the seats. We will have them at the connection desk along with connect cards and giving envelopes. You can bring your own pen for all those notes we know you love to take.

If you are sick, stay home and get better. We want everyone to be a part of our Sunday mornings, but we also know that sleep and rest can cure so much. You can stay home and join our online service at 5pm. Get better and come back to join us!

We want you to know that these decisions have not been made out of fear, but out of love and care for our community. We thank you for partnering with us to keep our community healthy.  If you have any questions for us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. As we continue to learn from medical professionals and experts, we will be looking at our plan and adjusting when needed.
