A New Thing

In a new year and new space, we look at Isaiah 43:16–21, where God reminds His weary people that the One who once made a way through the sea is now making a way through the wilderness. He is not limited by past miracles, but is doing a “new thing”—not by discarding what is broken, but by renewing it. In a world that treats things as disposable, this passage reveals a God who wastes nothing, bringing life and purpose to dry places and reminding us that the wilderness is often where His redemption becomes most visible.
